YouthWorks Opportunities

Registration for our next YouthWorks program has started.

November registration is now open for our next session, taking place at our Danforth Employment & Training Centre. 

If you’re out of school, out of work and looking to gain new work experience, YouthWorks Opportunities is for you. This 18-week program gives you the professional skills you need to find a job, a 12-week job placement, and life skills to support you throughout your journey.

If you’re out of school, out of work and looking to gain new work experience, YouthWorks Opportunities is for you. This 18-week program gives you 6 weeks of professional skill building, and access to resources and an employment coach to find and secure a 12-week work opportunity.

Eligibility

You are eligible if:

  • You are between the ages of 15 -30 years old when the program starts (in December 2025).

  • You are both out of work and out of school and not planning to go to school next year between January-June 2026.

  • You are allowed to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and able to show proof.

  • You are a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident, a protected person or a convention refugee and able to show proof of your immigration status.

Registration for our December program has started. You can email us to be put on a waiting list for a virtual information session to learn about the program and how to apply. Please ensure you meet all of the eligibility requirements. The deadline to register is November 17,
