Language Training - LINC Classes

Coming to a new country is always an adjustment. What helps is learning and improving your language skills. Our LINC English Classes help you improve your writing, reading and speaking. We offer a variety of beginner and advanced classes for adults, including classes in the morning, afternoon or evening.

North York Youth Drop-in

New to Canada and between 14 to 18 years old? Our North York Youth Drop-in Drop-in offers peer-led programs that help you build connections in your community. You'll make new friends, improve your leadership skills, and have the opportunity to earn your volunteer hours for school.

Pregnant Women and New Mothers

Are you pregnant or a new mother and new to Canada? Our Perinatal Settlement Services help you adjust to life in Canada with your new baby. You'll find out about pregnancy, healthy food for you and your baby, getting a birth certificate and OHIP, finding housing and a job, health care, schools, and much more!

If you're a LGBTQ+ refugee or newcomer, Rainbow Connect is the place for you! In this safe and welcoming space, you'll make new friends, enjoy chats and celebrations, and build your networks and skills. You can also volunteer and help other people just like you.

Women’s Program

Our Women's Group in downtown east helps newcomer women come together to make new friends and gain valuable support. Together, we've learned about housing, parenting, school, and health care, gender-based violence and racism. You can also enjoy fun activities and holiday celebrations, and join our annual December 6th and International Women’s Day events.

Women's Settlement Program

Our Women’s Settlement Program offers a welcoming space to make friends and gain valuable support. You'll learn about applying for schools and healthcare, immigration, self-care, job searches and everything you need to make Canada your new home! We also provide one-to-one counselling for women and families. Whatever you need, our staff are here to help in English, Farsi, Dari, Fashtu and Bengali!

Youth Boost

Between 18 to 29 years old? New to Canada? Looking to prepare for work? Try Youth Boost! This four-week program helps you prepare for employment by helping you explore careers, build soft skills, and develop digital and financial literacy. You’ll learn what you need to transition into our Integrated Employment Services where you’ll find the job you need.
