Why do I need a LINC Assessment before joining an English class?

The assessment helps to make sure you will join the class that is closest to your English level.
What does LINC mean?

LINC is the short form for Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada.
What does CLB mean?

CLB is an abbreviation for Canadian Language Benchmarks. It refers to the national CLB standard to assess and teach language skills.
Where are your English classes?

English classes are located in North York and online.
Are there English classes closer to my home?

There are many free English classes offered across the City. When you go to the Toronto LINC Assessment Centre, they will let you know the classes closest to you.
Do you have French language classes?

Unfortunately we do not offer French language classes at this time.
