One of the biggest challenges that people who are homeless and living with mental health and substance use issues face is getting proper health care. At our Primary and Nursing Care Clinic, people have access to a doctor and community nurses, a psychiatrist, as well as testing and vaccination clinics.
Yes, the doctor can help transition you from Ontario Works to the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP). Our staff will refer you to the City’s HOPE program, which helps people who are homeless go through the process faster.
